Summary

8 copies: 4 across × 2 down on a landscape sheet (10.2 cm × 15.2 cm (4 in × 6 in)), 1800 × 1200 px at 300 DPI.

How it works

  1. Add one passport-style photo that is already the right size, or one you want to crop.
  2. Choose the photo size, the sheet and the print resolution.
  3. Set the gap between copies and move the crop box if the face is off-centre.
  4. Press Create sheet, download it, and print it at 100 % without "fit to page".

FAQ

How many copies fit?
The summary above the preview shows the grid and the number of copies. The sheet is turned to the landscape when that fits more copies.
Why does it warn about the gap?
A gap uses space. When it means one row or column less than with no gap, the warning says how many copies you lose, so you can shrink the gap.
What are the cut lines for?
They are thin grey lines between the photos, drawn in the gap so they never touch a face. With no gap they run along the edges of the photos.
Which print setting should I use?
Print at actual size, 100 %. The resolution is stored in the file, so most print software and photo kiosks size it correctly.
Why only JPG and PNG?
Print software reads the stored resolution reliably from those two formats, but not from WebP or AVIF.
