How it works
- Add WebP images, or drop a whole folder.
- Set the quality. 75 is a good balance; lower values give smaller files.
- Press Compress, then download each file or all of them as one ZIP.
FAQ
- Is transparency kept?
- Yes. Transparent areas stay transparent.
- Why did my file get bigger?
- A WebP that is already well compressed can grow when saved again. The result is flagged, and you can keep the original.
- What happens to an animated WebP?
- Only the first frame is used, so the result is a still picture.
- Is metadata removed?
- Yes. Camera details and location are left out of the compressed file.
